Message from Dean (FEAT) Desk

To my mind an educational institute is not just about bricks, mortar and concrete, but about building character, enriching minds and about enriching experiences that lasts a lifetime. Life is not a set of instructions but is a series of experiences and learning process. This is where "Faculty of Engineering And Technology (FEAT) " steps in - to make a difference and where learning is not just series of instructions but a passion, which goes beyond books, beyond instructions, beyond learning horizons.
The FEAT is also engaged in supporting the students to refine the necessary skills, attitudes and the aptitude towards the corporate placement process in the University by the way of periodical competitive tests and group interaction exercises. As a part of co-curricular and extracurricular activities we conduct national and intercollegiate level seminars and workshops; encourage students to participate in technical paper presentation contests, etc. right from first year.
Our ambition is to create a FEAT that meets/exceeds the educational, social and physical needs of all its students. Students, teachers, parents, and society are stakeholders in this effort. The challenge is to draw them all together to support the students in their day-to-day efforts of achieving the goals. One of our aims is to provide the opportunity to all of our students to develop the knowledge and skills that will enable them to take their place in the world of work and higher education. I believe the solution is to give our students a ˜level playing field'; a University where everyone has similar opportunities. Through succeeding, students develop their self-worth and confidence and with a can do' attitude. I know the FEAT can have a magical effect on a student's future. The FEAT simultaneously promotes personal development and collaborative learning in an environment of intellectual experimentation. The best practices helped the FEAT to improve the quality of technical education and helped to achieve academic excellence. About Faculty of Engineering Technology

Faculty of Engineering and Technology is stepping stone under the charter of Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research (Deemed to be University) to promote globally acclaimed technocrats. This novel program aimed to enable the students to work on advance prosthetics, interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to address the challenges of developing world by ethical values and knowledge base.
The fast-paced advancement in the field of technology has raised manifold demand of highly skilled workforce, hence to meet the demand for skilled professionals in varied areas like artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, computer science & design, medical and agriculture engineering five new age undergraduate and two postgraduate courses are introduced.
These specialized B.Tech courses will enable students to build intelligent machines, software, or applications with a cutting-edge combination of machine learning, analytics and visualization technologies, to satisfy engineering, healthcare and agriculture based needs.
M.Tech. Artificial Intelligence & Data Science program aims at serving the demand for the experts and engineers who can deal with scientific methodologies, processes, and techniques drawn from different domains like statistics, cognitive science, and computing and information science to extract knowledge from structured and unstructured data to develop sophisticated and complex systems.
M.Tech. Biomedical Engineering is designed to expose the students to recent exciting developments in the area of biological sciences and technology, directed at improve the quality of healthcare, human life and medicine. Engineers and researchers in this domain are responsible for developing and improving medical devices, for designing procedures for efficient diagnosis, operation, and treatment of diseases and other health ailments. The proposed programme focuses on research and education aimed at developing science & technology and new areas of study that combine computer technology, core engineering, nanotechnology, bioscience, and bioengineering.

Eligibility

• Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree.       OR
• Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the University).
• Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
